Create a sacred space where you can remove yourself from all that is going on in the world by reconnecting and Aline with your inner self. Somewhere you can come to find peace throughout your day. A place where you can meditate, Pray write in a journal or read etc., a place where you can feel at peace.
Find a room, a corner or small area in your house where you can build an altar. A place in your home that you are comfortable where can you sit and where you can be close to your alter. You can use the floor, a table, a bookcase etc., some place you can create a sacred space for yourself by your alter. You will want it out of the way so others will not bother you while you are there.
Keep your altar simple. You can create an altar with candles, some flowers, crystals, stones, shells, things you have collected in nature, events, places you been to and things you enjoy and love. Place things on your altar that remind you of times and experiences where you felt happy and peaceful. You can put pictures on your altar or something that you have made or were given by someone you love and care about.
You can also create sacred space and an altar outdoors in a garden, next to a tree or somewhere in your yard where you will not be disturbed. You can sit on the ground, a blanket, a bench, a chair or even a swing. Use whatever makes you feel happy, joyful at peace.
The key to making a scared space and an altar is to keep it simple, keep it sacred, and use your imagination. You can change your altar as you feel or want, it doesn’t have to stay the same all the time. You can make changes as things change as your life changes inside and out. You might want your altar to reflect those changes
Use this sacred space to allow yourself to be inspired to get ideas and insight you need to help you with your challenging moments….By having some special spot that you can visit during the day will give you a timeout, it is a wonderful way to find some minutes of inner peace. Sitting in your sacred space can be a time where you can write goals for yourself, pray and give thanks for what you do have in your life and most of all it is a place to find quiet from the noise of the world – both the inner and outer noise.
By doing this daily will allow you to connect with yourselves and this will allow you to regenerate so that you feel the strength and energy to keep your visions going and where you can become your true self.
